Fans were stunned by Max Verstappen’s performance during the Belgian Grand Prix.
Last weekend, Spa-Francorchamps hosted the 80th Belgian Grand Prix.
The reigning Formula 1 world champion Verstappen started in 11th place due to a grid penalty from an engine change.
Despite starting further back, the Red Bull star managed to climb to fifth place and eventually finished fourth after George Russell, the initial winner, was disqualified for having an underweight car.
New onboard footage from Verstappen’s car revealed the 26-year-old waving at Fernando Alonso as he passed him at high speed early in the race.
The footage showed Verstappen traveling at 335 km/h when he waved goodbye to Alonso.
