Real Valladolid: Un minuto del Derby County acaba con la imbatibilidad del Pucela | El Norte de Castilla

Real Valladolid’s majority shareholder, Ronaldo Nazario, has reached an agreement to sell the club to local construction firm Inexo, although the deal has not yet been signed. Ronaldo acquired a controlling stake in the club in 2018 for €30 million and has overseen two promotions and two relegations. The club is currently in Segunda, and Ronaldo has a strained relationship with the fans at the Nuevo Jose Zorrilla.

According to Cadena SER, Ronaldo signed a declaration of intent to sell the club to Inexo at the end of March, outlining the terms of the sale. The initial cost would be €28.7 million for 49% of the club, with an obligation to purchase the remaining 16.7% from Ronaldo between 2028 and 2030 for €10 million if the club is in Primera, or €5 million if it is in Segunda. The minimum total fee is €33.7 million.

This declaration is not binding, and Ronaldo is holding out for a potentially better offer. Notably, Valladolid is just two wins away from securing promotion back to La Liga as the Segunda season nears its end.
