West Brom pinpoints a transfer target in their quest for new signings.

West Brom is eager to attract the former Sweden youth international to England this summer to strengthen their squad. As they prepare for the new Championship season, they face an away trip to QPR this weekend.

Sabovic, 26, re-signed with Djurgårdens in 2022 and has been a key player for them. His contract with the Allsvenskan side expires in December, leaving his long-term future uncertain amid reported interest from other clubs.

According to Expressen, the Baggies have identified him as a target as they look to add new players. With Carlos Corberan losing Okay Yokuslu to Trabzonspor, they need reinforcements in midfield to fill the gap left by his departure.

West Brom may see Sabovic as a valuable addition to increase competition and depth in their midfield. Djurgårdens risks losing him for free in December when his contract ends unless they cash in on him now, assuming he doesn’t sign an extension soon.

The Macedonia-born player began his career at IF Brommapojkarna before joining Djurgårdens for the first time in 2015.
