West Ham have agreed to a £27m deal to acquire German striker Niclas Fullkrug from Borussia Dortmund.
The 31-year-old scored 15 goals in 46 appearances during his debut season with Dortmund, where he finished as a runner-up in the Champions League after transferring from Werder Bremen in a £12.6m move last summer.
Fullkrug also netted twice for Germany during their Euro 2024 quarter-final run, despite not starting any games.
Dortmund announced on Saturday that they have permitted Fullkrug to leave their training camp in Switzerland to negotiate with an undisclosed club.
West Ham are in search of a striker and have also been in talks for Aston Villa’s Colombian forward Jhon Duran.
New manager Julen Lopetegui has already brought in Wolves captain Max Kilman for £40m, Sheffield United goalkeeper Wes Foderingham, and Brazilian winger Luis Guilherme for £25.5m from Palmeiras.
