**Matt Waldron – Dominates Rockies for Seventh Win**

Waldron (7-9) secured the win against the Rockies on Sunday, allowing just one run on two hits and two walks while striking out seven over 5.2 innings. The lone run he conceded was a solo home run by Brenton Doyle in the fourth inning. His two hits allowed matched his season best, and his seven strikeouts were the most since he fanned eight on June 24. Leading with his knuckleball, he threw it nearly 44 percent of the time, resulting in five whiffs. Waldron was pulled after 80 pitches, but has consistently provided length throughout the season. He now holds a 3.79 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, and a 116:36 K:BB ratio in 128.1 innings. He is scheduled to face the Marlins on the road over the weekend.

**Xander Bogaerts – Swipes Bag in Sunday’s Win**

Bogaerts went 2-for-4 with a steal and two runs scored in Sunday’s victory over the Rockies. He was one of four Padres with multiple hits, though neither went for extra bases. He stole his sixth base of the year in the seventh inning. Since returning from a fractured left shoulder on July 12, Bogaerts has been on fire at the plate. In the 16 games since, he has only gone hitless twice, achieving 10 multi-hit games. Over this span, he’s slashed .438/.456/.578 with one home run, seven RBI, 10 runs, two steals, and a 2:7 BB:K ratio.

**Jurickson Profar – Swats Solo Home Run**

Profar went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double, a walk, and three runs scored in Sunday’s win over the Rockies. He started his day with a solo homer to right in the fifth inning, extending the Padres’ lead to 3-1. He followed up with a double in the seventh and a walk in the eighth, scoring both times. Profar now has six multi-hit games in his last 12 and is slashing .319/.429/.681 with five home runs, 12 RBI, 11 runs, and an 8:8 BB:K ratio in that span. For the year, the 31-year-old All-Star is slashing .300/.393/.491 with 19 home runs, 71 RBI, 63 runs, five steals, and a 54:68 BB:K ratio in 458 plate appearances. He remains one of 13 qualified players hitting at least .300.
