DONE DEAL: Leeds United’s Has Signs Queens Park Rangers Star For………….read more.

Leeds United’s initial offer for Jonathan Rowe falls significantly short of Norwich City’s valuation, sources have informed Football Insider.

Reportedly, Leeds has verbally proposed £7 million for the 21-year-old, though this bid has not been officially submitted.

Regardless, Norwich has rejected this offer as it does not meet their valuation of Rowe.

Leeds is seeking a new winger following Crysencio Summerville’s recent move to West Ham.

Daniel Farke’s team currently lacks a natural left-sided winger at Elland Road.

Rowe is seen as a suitable candidate for Leeds after an impressive breakthrough season in 2023-24.

During the last season, he scored 13 goals and provided four assists in 38 appearances, contributing to Norwich’s sixth-place finish in the Championship.

Rowe’s contract at Carrow Road runs until June 2025, with an option for the club to extend it for another year.

He missed a significant portion of the latter half of the season due to a hamstring injury but returned in time for Norwich’s play-off semi-final against Leeds, which they lost 4-0 on aggregate.

Despite signing Joe Rodon, Jayden Bogle, Alex Cairns, and Joe Rothwell this summer, Leeds is still in the market for a winger.

Additionally, Leeds fans anticipate Georginio Rutter’s exit following the revelation of his release clause.
