DONE DEAL: Tottenham Has Finally Signs Dominic Solanke For…………read more.

Tottenham Hotspur are making a strong effort to sign Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth, who has a release clause of £65 million. This hefty clause has deterred other clubs, but Solanke remains a top target for Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou as the club intensifies its search for a striker.

Solanke had an impressive season, scoring 21 goals in all competitions for Bournemouth, although he was not selected for Gareth Southgate’s Euro squad this summer. His goal tally surpasses those of Heung-Min Son, who scored 17, and Richarlison, who netted 11, despite both players frequently starting as strikers.

To secure the 26-year-old striker, Tottenham will need to meet his release clause. This potential transfer could also benefit Liverpool, who sold Solanke to Bournemouth for £20 million in 2019 and included a 20 percent sell-on clause. If Solanke moves to Spurs for £65 million, Liverpool would receive £9 million.

A successful transfer might lead to Richarlison leaving the club, with several teams, including those in Saudi Arabia, expressing interest in the Brazilian forward.

In other news, Tottenham has had a relatively quiet transfer window, with the £35 million signing of Leeds’ Archie Gray being their only significant addition. Meanwhile, center-back Joe Rodon has transferred to Leeds for around £10 million.

Tottenham’s pre-season has been eventful, with a tour of South Korea and Japan. Despite a narrow 2-1 defeat to Bayern Munich, they have secured victories against various teams, with Son impressing fans in his home country with a series of goals.
