AC Milan Agreed Personal Term With Chelsea Star Carney Chukwuemeka

Pablo Torre and Hector Fort were both absent from Barcelona’s squad in their final US tour friendly against AC Milan.

Torre missed the game due to a bout of gastroenteritis that sidelined him two days before the match, leading to his non-appearance against the Rossoneri.

Fort, on the other hand, was dealing with a minor injury scare after picking up a knock during Barça Atletic’s promotion playoff final. As a precaution, the club decided to give him a rest.

Fort and Torre are set to return for the Joan Gamper Trophy
In positive news for Barcelona, a recent report from Diario SPORT confirms that both Torre and Fort are expected to be available for the upcoming Joan Gamper Trophy.

Barcelona will face AS Monaco in the Joan Gamper Trophy on August 12, a match that doesn’t count as an official competitive fixture.

Their return is timely for Barcelona as the club faces important decisions this week, particularly concerning player transfers and wage reductions.

Torre, who has shown promise during the pre-season, may have another opportunity to impress and secure his place in the squad for the upcoming season during the Joan Gamper Trophy.

Fort is likely to remain with Barcelona next season, serving as a key option at right-back. However, with rumors swirling about Joan Cancelo’s potential return to Barcelona, Fort will be eager to make his mark in the match against AS Monaco.
