It’s official: The Auburn Tigers have just signed a 5-Star Offensive Tackle from…

Auburn Tigers are still in the mix for 2025 five-star offensive tackle Andrew Babalola, according to a report from On3’s Steve Wiltfong.

Babalola, a standout from Blue Valley High School in Kansas, is the 15th-ranked player in the 2025 class, the third-best at his position, and the top player in Kansas.

With recent recruiting buzz around Auburn, Babalola may see something appealing in the program. Landing the 6-foot-6, 280-pound lineman would be significant for Auburn, especially after a tough season where they allowed 34 sacks—fifth most in the SEC, even including Texas and Oklahoma.

Auburn Tigers head coach Hugh Freeze has a top-5 recruiting class and would love to put the cherry on top.

But how close is Auburn to securing Babalola? There’s no Crystal Ball Prediction on 247 Sports, and On3 remains skeptical despite the recent update.

Cue Jim Carrey from *Dumb and Dumber*: “What are the odds?” On3 gives Auburn just a 1% chance, so technically, there’s a chance.

Stanford is currently the overwhelming favorite with an 88% chance, followed by Michigan at 3.2% and Oklahoma at 1.9%.

While the recent recruiting activity might give Auburn some leverage, landing Babalola would be a major upset.

If they do, he would be the most significant offensive recruit so far. Auburn currently has three offensive linemen committed for 2025: one four-star and two three-stars.

Their top-ranked offensive player is four-star wide receiver Derick Smith from Southside High School in Alabama.

Despite the uncertainty, Auburn is doing well on the recruiting trail, with the fifth-ranked class in the country according to 247 Sports, and sixth according to On3, rebounding from a dip into the low teens in mid-June.
