Manchester United have reportedly shown interest in Nottingham Forest midfielder Danilo. The Brazilian has been a key player for Forest since joining last year, making 29 Premier League appearances under Nuno Espirito Santo as the team successfully avoided relegation.

Danilo’s performances have caught the attention of two major European clubs, according to TNT Sports. Alongside Manchester United, AC Milan is also rumored to be interested in the 23-year-old.

It is suggested that Erik ten Hag’s side may need to pay around £34 million to acquire Danilo this summer, a significant increase from the £18 million Forest paid Palmeiras for him in January 2023. Forest is reportedly open to the possibility of selling the midfielder.

Despite already making several signings this summer, including defenders Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, and Noussair Mazraoui, as well as forward Joshua Zirkzee, United is still looking to strengthen their midfield.
