“AC/DC Rocks Dublin with Final Show of Power Up Tour, Concluding Epic Comeback”
AC/DC concluded their Power Up European tour with a final show at Dublin’s Croke Park on Saturday, wrapping up their first major tour in eight years.
The Australian rock legends performed a 21-song setlist, consistent with most of their Power Up tour dates. They kicked off the night with “If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)” and “Back in Black,” followed by “Demon Fire” from their 2020 album *Power Up*. The set included a range of classics from their iconic career, such as “Hells Bells,” “Shoot to Thrill,” “Highway to Hell,” “Let There Be Rock,” “Rock ‘n’ Roll Train,” and “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap,” concluding with an encore of “T.N.T.” and “For Those About to Rock (We Salute You).”
The Power Up tour marked AC/DC’s first extended tour since 2016’s Rock or Bust tour, which faced numerous challenges, including singer Brian Johnson’s temporary departure due to hearing loss. Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose stepped in for nearly two dozen shows. Johnson returned for the Power Up tour, and despite concerns about his health, particularly given his age of 76, the band successfully launched the tour in May 2023 after a triumphant return at the Power Trip festival in Indio, California.
