Siyabonga Ngezana’s FCSB secured their first Romanian SuperLiga title in nine years after a 2-1 victory over FCV Farul Constanța on Saturday night at Bucharest’s National Stadium.

David Miculescu put the Red and Blues ahead in the 26th minute, but Rivaldinho equalized with just 10 minutes remaining.

Despite the setback, FCSB found the winning goal five minutes later through Alexandru Băluță, clinching their elusive 27th league title.

FCSB defender Siyabonga Ngezana celebrated both the SuperLiga title and a UEFA Champions League spot, marking his first major trophy with the club.

Ngezana, who joined FCSB at the start of the season, had a slow start but eventually solidified his position, earning his first significant piece of silverware.
