It’s a done deal: Arkansas Razorbacks have sign four-new star player just for the replacement of…..

For the third straight meeting between Alabama and Arkansas, the teams needed extra innings to decide a winner as a walk-off RBI single from the Razorbacks in the bottom of the ninth gave them the win Friday night at Bogle Park to open the weekend series.

Alabama (30-11, 7-9 SEC) Arkansas (31-11, 10-6 SEC) were locked in a scoreless pitcher’s duel for seven regulation innings, with the two teams leaving a combined 12 stranded on base to send the game to extras. Both teams got at least one runner on in the eighth but couldn’t break the scoreless tie and, after a leadoff single and sac bunt in the bottom of the ninth, a single to center from Lauren Camenzind drove in the runner from second to give the Razorbacks the game one win in walk-off fashion.

Kenleigh Cahalan went 2-for-4 from the leadoff spot for her eighth multi-hit game of the season, one shy of Abby Duchscherer for the team lead in that category. Kayla Beaver (14-5) took the loss in the complete-game effort, throwing 122 pitches across a season-high 8.1 innings
