Ainsley Earhardt is an American broadcast journalist and author with a net worth of $8 million and an annual salary of $3 million from Fox News.

Initially intending to pursue a degree in biology at Florida State University, Earhardt transferred to the University of South Carolina where she switched to journalism. She excelled in USC’s journalism program, graduating at the top of her class and starting her career as a local reporter in Columbia. She became the morning and noon anchor at WLTX-News 19, earning recognition as the top-rated reporter in her market and receiving the Best Personality of the Year award from local viewers.

In 2005, Earhardt moved to San Antonio, Texas, to anchor the morning and noon news shows at KENS-TV. She joined Fox News Channel in New York City two years later and has been with the network since. At Fox News, she co-hosts “Fox & Friends” and has her own segment called “Ainsley Across America” on “Hannity.” She has also appeared on various Fox programming, including “All-American New Year’s Eve.” In addition to her broadcasting career, Earhardt has authored several books: the memoir “The Light Within Me” (2018) and children’s books “Take Heart, My Child: A Mother’s Dream” (2016), “Through Your Eyes: My Child’s Gift to Me” (2017), and “I’m So Glad You Were Born: Celebrating Who You Are” (2022).

Born Ainsley Hayden Earhardt on September 20, 1976, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, she is the daughter of Dale and Wayne Earhardt and has two siblings, Elise and Trenton. The family moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, during her childhood. Earhardt attended Spring Valley High School and later transferred from Florida State University to the University of South Carolina, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in journalism in 1999.
