Postecoglou praised Odobert’s playing style, highlighting his dribbling skills and versatility. The French player’s development, from PSG to Ligue 1 and the Premier League, made him a strong fit for Tottenham.
The unexpected nature of Odobert’s signing gives fans hope that Tottenham might still complete another transfer before the deadline. While the squad appears strong, especially with the addition of a new striker and promising young players, they might still need a left-sided centre-back. Postecoglou mentioned last week that Archie Gray could fill in at centre-back if necessary.
