Reese Witherspoon Recently Posted New Behind-the-Scenes Photos from The Morning Show, Leading to a Strong Anticipation for One Key Element in Season 4
Fans of Bradley Jackson and Alex Levy will have to be patient as The Morning Show’s Season 4 isn’t expected to air in time for the 2024 TV schedule. While we wait for the new season, Reese Witherspoon is keeping the excitement alive by sharing new behind-the-scenes photos from the set. The executive producer and star of the show recently posted images from the series’ set to celebrate its nominations for the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards, including snaps with Season 3 castmates Jon Hamm, Billy Crudup, Greta Lee, and, notably, Jennifer Aniston.
Witherspoon’s Instagram post features several photos showcasing her and her co-stars, with a particular highlight being a warm hug with Aniston. This image reignited my anticipation for more scenes featuring the two longtime friends together in Season 4.
In Season 3, Alex and Bradley found themselves on divergent paths, with Alex pursuing a career ascent at UBA and a romance with tech billionaire Paul Marks (Jon Hamm), while Bradley faced challenges both personally and professionally. Aniston and Witherspoon addressed fan concerns about their limited screen time together in Season 3, explaining the storyline’s focus, but I’m hopeful that the next season will bring more collaborative moments for them.
The Morning Show received 16 Emmy nominations, including Best Drama Series and Outstanding Actress for both Witherspoon and Aniston. Their on-screen chemistry has been a highlight since Witherspoon’s guest role on Aniston’s Friends in 2000, and these new photos only fuel the hope for more joint scenes in the upcoming season.
The 76th Primetime Emmys will air at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 15, on ABC, and the first three seasons of The Morning Show are available for streaming on Apple TV+.
