Travis Kelce was reportedly given $42,000 worth of luxury gifts by Taylor Swift just before the new NFL season kicked off.
Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs started their quest for a historic third consecutive title with a strong performance, securing a 27-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens in their first game of the 2024 season.
Swift was seen cheering from the stands at Arrowhead Stadium as Kelce helped lead the Chiefs to victory, following recent rumors on social media about their relationship possibly ending.
According to The US Sun, Swift treated Kelce to an impressive array of high-end gifts before the game, spending a remarkable five-figure amount on designer bags and clothing, including some items in the Chiefs’ signature red color.
A source close to the Kansas City tight end shared, “The team is heading out for several extended trips across the country, so Taylor’s thoughtful gesture was much appreciated.
“She also got him some fall and winter clothes since temperatures are dropping soon. This includes a turtleneck, jacket, coat, and a cardigan that he had seen in Paris and had mentioned to her several times. He’s well-prepared with all these items, as he tends to bring a lot of gear when traveling with the team or attending events with Taylor.”
In addition, Kelce was surprised with two Louis Vuitton Keepall Bandouliere 50 bags, priced at $4,000 and $4,800 respectively. Swift also gifted him an $11,100 rolling trunk, a $1,130 toiletry bag, a $2,060 cashmere cardigan, a $1,450 silk and cashmere turtleneck, and a $560 beanie for winter warmth. Her shopping spree also included two Hermes jackets—a $5,050 rib-trim capsule and a $5,850 hooded auto coat. The insider mentioned that these gifts were meant to wish him a great season.
