Deal Done: Swansea city midfielder Azeem Abdulai has terminated his contract with the club…………. Read more for details.

West Ham are reportedly keeping a close eye on Swansea City midfielder Azeem Abdulai, who has been compared to Jude Bellingham. The Hammers were active during the summer transfer window, refreshing their squad under Julen Lopetegui with signings such as Crysencio Summerville, Max Kilman, Jean-Clair Todibo, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, aiming for a return to European competition.

Despite their efforts, West Ham have struggled with only one win in their first three Premier League games, as the new signings take time to adapt. Even though the summer window just closed, TEAMtalk reports that the club is already tracking Abdulai, who has impressed early in the Championship with two goals in five matches.

Both West Ham and Bournemouth scouts have been monitoring the 21-year-old midfielder, a Scotland under-21 international with two years remaining on his contract. Abdulai has made 16 appearances for Swansea since his debut in 2022, and although the Welsh club is keen to retain him, they might face challenges if he does not agree to a contract extension.

With James Ward-Prowse on loan to Nottingham Forest, West Ham may be seeking a younger, long-term midfield option, making Abdulai a potential target.
