Aerosmith has officially wrapped up their touring career. On Friday, the band announced that all remaining concert dates have been canceled, marking their retirement from the road due to lead singer Steven Tyler’s vocal injury, from which recovery is deemed impossible.
In a heartfelt message shared on social media, the band expressed gratitude, saying, “It has been the honor of our lives to have our music become part of yours,†echoing the sentiment of a farewell.
Aerosmith had embarked on their “Peace Out… Farewell Tour,” which was intended to be their final run. However, after performing their last show in Elmont, NY, on September 9, 2023, just three dates into the tour, they were forced to postpone and ultimately cancel the remaining performances, which were originally set to continue until February 2024.
