Wilfred Ndidi recorded his first-ever brace of assists in the English Premier League during Leicester City’s 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon.

Ndidi’s first contribution came in the 21st minute when he played a precise pass to Jamie Vardy, who was left unmarked and made no mistake in finding the back of the net.

In the 46th minute, Ndidi was involved again, this time setting up Stephy Mavididi, who finished confidently into the bottom left corner.

Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta pulled one back for the visitors, slotting Tyrick Mitchell’s pass past the Leicester defense. The goal was briefly reviewed by VAR but was ultimately confirmed, adding excitement to the match.

Mateta then completed the comeback for the Eagles in the second minute of stoppage time, converting a penalty awarded against Mads Hermansen.

Ndidi ended the match with two assists and also received a yellow card from referee Tony Harrington for a robust challenge.

This marks Ndidi’s first game in the Premier League with two assists, bringing his total goal contributions to 19 in the league. He has played every minute for Leicester City this season, reinforcing his role as a key player for the Foxes.
