Though he remains under contract with Al Ahli, Saint-Maximin announced today that he will spend the upcoming season on loan.

In an Instagram post, he expressed, “Last season wasn’t easy, but we persevered, and I’m happy we secured third place. I truly enjoyed my time with exceptional teammates; I’ve made lifelong friends in this team! I’m grateful for the support and experiences. ❤️

“I wish I could have contributed more. With a proper pre-season, I aimed to deliver even better performances, but next season, my journey will take me elsewhere as I’m going on loan to a new club.”

He thanked his fans for their messages and wished them well, stating, “Until we meet again 👀 @alahliclub.sa 🤍”

Saint-Maximin is set to join Turkish giants Fenerbahçe, managed by former Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Manchester United boss José Mourinho.

A club statement confirmed, “Welcome to Fenerbahçe, Allan Saint-Maximin. Our club has reached an agreement with French winger Allan Saint-Maximin and Al Ahli for a one-year loan transfer.

“The 27-year-old will don the Fenerbahçe jersey for the 2024-25 season. We welcome Allan Saint-Maximin to our family and wish him success in achieving more championships with Fenerbahçe.”
