Olmo has committed to a six-year contract with Barcelona, which includes a €500m (£429m) release clause.
He was joint top-scorer in Euro 2024 with three goals, contributing to Spain’s record fourth title in the tournament.
Barcelona praised Olmo’s creativity and teamwork in a statement, highlighting his goal-scoring ability both inside and outside the box, as shown during Euro 2024.
During his time with RB Leipzig, Olmo secured two German Cup titles, having joined the club in 2020.
“A young club, a young player. We grew, won trophies, and made history together,” Olmo said on X. “Thank you, RB Leipzig. You’ll always be in my heart.”
