TUCSON, Ariz. The Arizona Softball program has announced the addition of transfer Kiki Escobar to the 2024-25 roster. Escobar, a redshirt junior, comes to Arizona after three years at Oregon State.

“We are so excited to announce the addition of Kiki to the team!” said head coach Caitlin Lowe. “She is extremely skilled and will bring high-level experience and depth to our infield. We can’t wait to welcome Kiki to Arizona.”

Why Head Coach Caitlin Lowe Is Proud To Carry On The Tradition Of The Arizona Program

As Oregon State’s second baseman, Escobar started all 50 games for the Beavers in 2024 and led the team with five stolen bases after not playing in 2023 due to an injury. She was third on Oregon State with 13 RBI and was fourth on the team with 25 hits.

As a freshman in 2022, she was named to the All-Pac-12 second team and the Pac-12 All-Freshman team after leading Oregon State with 74 hits, 41 runs scored, 10 doubles, and 10 stolen bases and was third on the team with a .330 batting average. Escobar helped lead the Beavers to the Women’s College World Series as a three-time Pac-12 Freshman of the Week and recorded 22 multi-hit games in her freshman campaign.

Escobar will join transfers Sydney Stewart and Saya Swain along with incoming freshmen Emma Kavanaugh, Jenna Sniffen, Kate Vance, Anyssa Wild, and Sarah Wright in the fall.
