Having sold over 100 million albums and maintained a strong global fanbase, 2025 will mark a significant milestone—50 years of heavy metal history. To commemorate the occasion, Iron Maiden will launch the “Run for Your Lives” tour, which is set to be their most ambitious show yet.

While Eddie has appeared on album covers, merchandise, books, and video games, this will be the first official Eddie plush. This project, coordinated by Global Merchandise and the band’s management, is a historic moment as it brings the iconic mascot to life as a plush toy with a true metalhead spirit.

Barrado is currently developing the collection, which will include two versions of Eddie: a classic edition and a special collector’s edition with light and sound features, available in a limited, hand-numbered release. This collaboration is just the beginning, with future lines planned to bring Eddie to a wider audience, especially collectors and fans of pop culture.

The 50th Anniversary collection is set to launch in the first half of 2025, coinciding with Iron Maiden’s world tour, which will take the band to major venues like London Stadium and Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid.

Pre-sales will open soon, and further details about this and other exclusive 50th-anniversary products will be announced in the near future.
