Guyanese Rayon Griffith, who is the Assistant Coach for the West Indies team focusing on fielding, will continue in his role for the upcoming tours to Zimbabwe and South Africa.
A press release from Cricket West Indies (CWI) announced on Wednesday that Griffith, who also serves as the Head Coach for the Guyana Amazon Warriors, remains as the Assistant Coach for the senior West Indies men’s team. During this interim period, he will work alongside Interim Head Coach Andre Coley as his second-in-command.
Griffith has been part of the management team since 2019. The announcement of these positions comes as the West Indies prepares for their tours of Zimbabwe and South Africa in February and March.
