Breaking news: he is coming from…..
Chris Davies asserts that Birmingham City are far from finished with their transfer efforts this summer, having secured three signings in a week. During their latest pre-season friendly at Shrewsbury Town on Saturday, Blues fans saw Alex Cochrane and Willum Willumsson, who joined earlier in the week, while Christophe Klarer, announced Saturday morning, observed from the stands.
The Blues have added seven new players this summer, including two goalkeepers, winger Emil Hansson, and striker Alfie May. However, Davies believes the club’s transfer activity is far from over. After saying goodbye to 18 players at the end of last season, including five loanees, and parting ways with Alex Pritchard, with Juninho Bacuna and Manny Longelo also on their way out, Davies aims to have two senior players for each position on the pitch. This could mean bringing in a couple more defenders and forward players. Any departing players, such as Jordan James, who has attracted interest, would need to be replaced. The new Blues manager is satisfied with their progress so far, but fans should expect more signings.
