Emmanuel Moseley has been eagerly awaiting his return to the football field, and now he’s ready to make his mark once more.

The Detroit Lions cornerback has been sidelined for nearly two years due to injuries, missing action after tearing his ACL on just his second snap of the 2023 season. His stint with the Lions seemed brief, having signed a one-year deal after recovering from his first ACL tear with the San Francisco 49ers in 2022. Despite his limited contribution during his first season with the Lions, the team’s decision-makers offered Moseley another one-year contract for 2024.

Now fully healthy and participating in training camp from the start, Moseley is determined to make the most of his second chance with the Lions.

“It’s amazing,” Moseley said, grinning widely. “After two ACL tears, it’s tough. It’s definitely not easy to come back from, but for this team to give me another chance and believe in me — it means a lot. I almost get emotional talking about it, but you just have to have gratitude that you can even touch the field again.”
