Done Deal: Ryan Kent Has sign……….read more.

Leeds United are once again being linked with a move for Ryan Kent, with Jose Mourinho making a decision on the winger amid reported interest from Elland Road.

Kent, 27, has been frequently connected with Leeds since The Whites offered £10m to sign him in the summer of 2020. Steven Gerrard, then managing Rangers, confirmed the bid.

After the Leeds offer, the former Liverpool player stayed with Rangers for three more seasons before leaving on a free transfer to join Turkish side Fenerbahce. However, his first season in the Super Lig was disappointing.

Kent was mostly sidelined, appearing in only one league match as a substitute in Fenerbahce’s last 25 Super Lig games. New Fenerbahce manager Mourinho gave him an opportunity this season in a European qualifier.

In the second round of Champions League qualifying last month, Kent started Mourinho’s first match in charge against Lugano. However, he was dropped a week later, remaining an unused substitute in the second leg.

Leeds have now made a £2.5m bid for Kent. While Fenerbahce’s asking price for Kent is unclear, it is evident they are prepared to sell him. According to Turkish Football, Mourinho has given the ‘green light’ to offload Kent as he reshapes his squad, having no plans for the winger and welcoming offers from interested clubs.
