Dear Washington Huskies Football Community,

It is with mixed emotions that I announce my departure from the role of head coach. Serving the Washington Huskies has been an incredible privilege filled with unforgettable experiences, challenges, and victories. However, after much consideration, I have decided that it is time for me to pursue new opportunities and challenges.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to the university administration, athletic department, coaching staff, players, and fans for their unwavering support throughout my tenure. Your passion for the game and dedication to the success of the Huskies football program have made my time here truly special.

To the players, I am immensely proud of the growth and achievements we have accomplished together. Each one of you has shown exceptional talent, resilience, and dedication both on and off the field. It has been an honor to coach such a remarkable group of individuals, and I have no doubt that you will continue to excel in the seasons ahead.

I also want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the coaching and support staff who have worked tirelessly to support our team’s success. Your hard work, expertise, and dedication have been invaluable, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked alongside each of you.

As I embark on the next chapter of my coaching journey, I will carry with me the memories and friendships forged during my time at Washington. While I may be leaving the Huskies family, I will always cherish the bonds we have formed and the lessons we have learned together.
