Mark Few, the head coach of Gonzaga basketball, has been selected to join the coaching staff for Team USA at the 2024 Olympic Games.
Gonzaga men’s basketball head coach Mark Few is set to join the 2024 USA men’s basketball team in Paris for the Olympic Games as an assistant coach. Leading the team will be Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, with Few joining him alongside Los Angeles Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue and Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra.
The full team and coaching roster were announced by Team USA, featuring 12 NBA all-stars including Kevin Durant and LeBron James. With a combined 11 Olympic appearances, the team holds 10 gold medals and three FIBA World Cup titles.
Mark Few brings a wealth of USA basketball experience, having served as an assistant coach for various teams and leading the 2015 U.S. Pan American Men’s Basketball Team to a bronze medal.
Expressing his excitement, Few considers representing his country alongside top players and coaches as a tremendous honor and acknowledges the valuable professional development opportunity with USA Basketball.
Team USA will commence training camp in Las Vegas on July 6 before heading to Paris for the Olympic competition, starting with a game against Serbia on July 28.
