July 11, 2025 — New Jersey

Lorna Shore frontman Will Ramos has announced a sudden and indefinite hiatus from music, sending shockwaves through the metal community. In a deeply personal video statement posted to social media late Thursday night, the 30-year-old vocalist admitted he’s been battling vocal exhaustion, mental fatigue, and what he described as a growing disconnect between his mind and voice.

> “I’ve given everything I have, and lately, it hasn’t been enough—not for the band, not for the fans, and not for myself,” Ramos said, voice strained with emotion. “I couldn’t scream anymore. Not physically. Not emotionally.”

The announcement comes just weeks before the band’s highly anticipated North American tour supporting their upcoming album I Feel the Everblack Festering Within Me, scheduled for release on September 12. While the band has not officially canceled the tour, sources close to the group suggest postponements are being discussed internally.

Bandmate Adam De Micco shared a brief but heartfelt message shortly after the announcement:

> “We stand with Will. Always. This isn’t the end—just a necessary pause.”

Fans have flooded social media with messages of support, using the hashtag #RestWillRamos, urging the frontman to prioritize his health. Ramos, who joined Lorna Shore in 2020, has been credited with helping redefine deathcore with his explosive performances on To the Hellfire and Pain Remains.

While some speculate the break could stretch for months, Ramos was clear that this is not a goodbye—just a moment to breathe.

> “Lorna Shore means everything to me. But right now, I need to remember who I am when the mic is off.”

No replacement vocalist has been announced. Updates are expected from the band later this week.
