Jonas Aidoo has committed to Arkansas.

In Fayetteville, head coach John Calipari has announced that Jonas Aidoo, recognized as first team All-SEC and a member of the SEC All-Defensive Team this past season, has officially signed with the Arkansas men’s basketball program.

Aidoo, pronounced AY-doo, boasts a collegiate career spanning three seasons at Tennessee, where he played a total of 90 games. His freshman year saw him in action for 19 games, followed by 35 games as a sophomore, and 36 games in his junior season. Throughout his time at Tennessee, his scoring and rebounding averages progressed from 2.11 points and 2.21 rebounds as a freshman to 11.42 points and 7.31 rebounds as a junior, accumulating a total of 629 points and 496 rebounds.

Joining Arkansas, Aidoo adds to the 2024 signing class, which also includes Zvonimir Ivišić, Billy Richmond III, Johnuel “Boogie” Fland, and Karter Knox. His signing marks a significant addition to the roster, further bolstering the team’s talent pool.

Aidoo, a native of Durham, North Carolina, attended Liberty Heights Athletic Institute before his tenure at Tennessee. Throughout his collegiate journey, he has earned accolades such as being named to the NABC Second Team All-District and SEC All-Defensive Team in 2024, along with various academic honors during his time at Tennessee.
