According to NBA insider Chris Haynes, the Mavericks are expected to be interested in acquiring Tobias Harris from the Philadelphia 76ers. However, this would only be possible through a sign-and-trade deal. There have been previous rumors about Harris joining the Mavericks.

Despite some expectations, the Mavericks should not pursue the 31-year-old forward and should instead target other free agents or trade options.
Though it may be surprising to some, Harris has never been selected for an All-Star Game in his 13-year career and has only averaged 20 points per game once, during the 2018-19 season. Following that season, the 76ers signed Harris to a five-year, $180 million max contract.
