The Tennessee Volunteers have secured another commitment for their 2025 recruiting class, as top-5 EDGE rusher Mariyon Dye announced on Friday that he will be joining the team.
Dye is the fifth commitment in June alone, bringing Tennessee’s total to 16 commits for the 2025 class. Although they are currently outside the top ten in the consensus rankings, Dye’s addition is expected to boost them into the top 10 soon.
Tennessee’s recent success in recruiting EDGE rushers has been remarkable. They have commitments from Jayden Loftin and Mariyon Dye in this class, just a year after signing five-star Jordan Ross. Additionally, Tennessee is likely to have the first pass rusher selected in the upcoming draft, with James Pearce a strong candidate for the No. 1 overall pick.
