In a tragic incident on November 26, 2024, Raja Mustafa Shah Raja Jalil Shah, a prominent figure in Pahang football and a member of the Pahang Football Association (PBNP), lost his life in a road accident near Pekan, Pahang. The collision occurred around 11:05 a.m. at Kilometer 3 of Jalan Pekan-Kuantan, involving three vehicles: a four-wheel drive (4×4), a car, and a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV). Initial investigations suggest that the 4×4, driven by Azuwan Zainal Abidin, 35, lost control and veered into the opposite lane, colliding with Raja Mustafa’s car. The MPV, unable to avoid the sudden obstruction, subsequently crashed into the rear of Raja Mustafa’s vehicle.
