“Lindemann and Landers Launch Explosive New Band ‘Feuergeist’: ‘This Is Our Rebirth’”
Berlin, Germany – July 11, 2025 — In a revelation that has sent shockwaves through the industrial metal world, Rammstein’s iconic vocalist Till Lindemann and guitarist Paul Landers have officially announced the formation of a brand-new band: Feuergeist.
The duo, known for their electrifying chemistry on stage, unveiled the project during a surprise livestream broadcast from a secret Berlin bunker. “This isn’t a side project,” Lindemann declared. “This is a rebirth. We’re taking everything we’ve lived through, burned through, and turning it into something even more dangerous.”
Feuergeist, which translates roughly to “Fire Spirit,” promises to push the boundaries of industrial and electronic metal, with a heavier focus on provocative themes, experimental visuals, and raw storytelling. Landers added, “We’ve been part of a machine for decades. Now we want to build our own engine—louder, dirtier, more personal.”
The debut album, titled “Asche zu Licht” (Ashes to Light), is scheduled for release in November 2025, with the first single, “Götter schlafen nicht” (Gods Don’t Sleep), dropping next month. The teaser clip, filled with haunting visuals and distorted church bells, has already racked up millions of views within hours of release.
Fans are both stunned and ecstatic. While Rammstein is currently on hiatus until 2027, the creation of Feuergeist signals a bold new chapter for two of the band’s most influential figures. Sources close to the musicians suggest that a world tour is already in planning for early 2026.
Rammstein management has yet to comment on the development, but online forums are ablaze with theories about the group’s future. For now, one thing is clear: Lindemann and Landers are not done lighting fires.
“Feuergeist is not an escape—it’s a confrontation,” Lindemann closed. “We’re only just beginning.”
