“Oasis Postpone Reunion Tour Citing ‘Unexpected Circumstances'”
In a stunning development that has left fans worldwide reeling, Oasis have officially postponed their highly anticipated “Live ’25” reunion tour, just one day before it was set to kick off in Cardiff.
The band released a joint statement early this morning:
> “Due to unforeseen and unexpected circumstances beyond our control, we are postponing the Live ’25 tour. We deeply regret the inconvenience and disappointment caused to our fans, and we are working urgently to reschedule all dates.”
The announcement came as a shock, especially with rehearsals recently praised by both Liam and Noel Gallagher. Cardiff’s Principality Stadium had been preparing to host over 70,000 fans across July 4–5. Now, ticket holders are being told to hold on to their passes as new dates will be announced “in the coming weeks.”
Sources close to the band suggest that the postponement may be linked to internal disagreements, despite the brothers putting on a united front in recent weeks. Others cite logistical or health-related reasons, though no official cause has been confirmed.
Fans were already arriving in Cardiff from around the globe, many of whom expressed shock and disappointment. “I flew here from Argentina for this,” said one emotional fan. “This was supposed to be history.”
Promoters have urged calm, confirming that all purchased tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled dates and that refunds will be available upon request.
Despite the setback, band management insists this is not the end:
> “Oasis remains committed to giving fans the show they deserve. This is only a delay, not a cancellation.
For now, the world will have to wait just a bit longer for the long-dreamed Oasis comeback.
