Berkeley, CA — Punk rock legends Rancid have set the scene ablaze with the long-awaited announcement of their 30th anniversary world tour and a brand-new studio album titled “The Wolves Are Back.” The explosive news, delivered through a gritty black-and-white teaser video on the band’s official pages, marks a monumental moment for fans who’ve followed the band since their 1995 breakout album …And Out Come the Wolves.

Celebrating three decades of unrelenting punk rebellion, the 2025-2026 tour will honor the band’s legacy with a mix of classic tracks and new material. The tour kicks off in Oakland, California — where it all started — before storming through Europe, South America, Japan, and Australia. For the first time since 2019, fans will hear “Roots Radicals,” “Maxwell Murder,” and “Time Bomb” performed live alongside new anthems crafted for a generation still screaming for authenticity.

The accompanying album, “The Wolves Are Back,” is described as a raw return to form — channeling the gritty energy of their early years with a modern twist. Produced by Brett Gurewitz of Epitaph Records, the album will feature guest vocals from Tim Armstrong’s longtime collaborators, including Jesse Michaels and members of The Interrupters.

Speaking in a rare joint statement, Rancid declared:

> “Thirty years ago, we started a fire. It never went out — it just needed more gasoline. This is for the punks who never left.”

With vinyl reissues, unreleased demos, and exclusive anniversary merch also in the works, fans are calling this “the comeback of the decade.” Tickets for the tour go on sale next month, with the album release expected in early 2026.

After years of silence, Rancid’s return promises to reignite the punk flame — louder

and prouder than ever.
