Tony Dews of the Titans will be interviewed by the Jets to be the RBs coach.

Tony Dews, the tight ends coach for the Tennessee Titans, is apparently scheduled for another interview with a New York-based team.

The New York Jets intend to interview Dews for the running backs coach post, which opened up after Taylor Embree left the organization, according to ESPN’s Turron Davenport.

This is Dews’ second interview; prior to Joel Thomas being hired by Big Blue, he was previously interviewed by the New York Giants for the position of running backs coach.

I may have named Dews the tight ends coach, which may have confused you if you don’t watch the Titans. In 2023, he did indeed hold that position; however, he had previously spent five seasons as Tennessee’s running backs coach.

Before moving to Nashville, Dews spent twenty years coaching collegiate players at various positions. During that time, he worked with tight ends, running backs, offensive and defensive linemen, wide receivers, and linebackers.
