The Lumberjack basketball team secured a victory against Utah Valley.

In Nacogdoches, Texas, SFA faced off against Utah Valley on Thursday night. Right off the bat, the Jacks missed a jumper, but Jalil Beaubrun capitalized with a put-back dunk, setting the pace for SFA.

Latrell Jossell showcased his skills from the perimeter, driving into the paint and sinking a floater to keep the offense flowing.

Beaubrun continued to make an impact down low, executing a smooth spin move and drawing a foul for an impressive and-1 play, converting the subsequent free throw.

Despite a brief setback in the second half, the Jacks maintained their composure and secured the victory, ultimately defeating Utah Valley 77-72.

The crowd at the Sawmill erupted with excitement, witnessing energetic plays like Nana’s thunderous two-handed dunk off an offensive rebound.
