Ethan Utley Plans Official Visit to Tennessee
Ensworth High School defensive lineman Ethan Utley has established a commitment date of March 28, where he will choose among Michigan, Oklahoma, Syracuse, Texas, and Tennessee. The Vols are reportedly in a favorable position with him, having fostered a strong relationship, although Utley has yet to finalize his decision.
Despite his impending spring commitment, Utley intends to undertake official visits during the summer. He recently arranged one with the Tennessee Volunteers, scheduled from June 13 to June 16, which currently stands as his sole official visit.
Rodney Garner, Tennessee’s defensive line coach, shares a prior connection with Utley’s mother, laying the groundwork for their recruitment efforts from the outset. The Texas Longhorns are actively involved in Utley’s recruitment and pose as a noteworthy contender. Tennessee and Texas will compete for Utley’s commitment until March 28, as he has been a key target for the Vols since the start of the recruiting cycle.
