Highly agile 2026 athlete Brandon Arrington expresses enthusiasm over Michigan’s offer.

Earlier this week, the Michigan coaching staff reached out to talented athlete Brandon Arrington from the west coast, extending a scholarship offer to the 6-foot-3, 180-pounder from Spring Valley, California’s Mount Miguel High School, where he holds a four-star rating.

“I was thrilled because they just won a national championship,” Arrington told Wolverine Digest. “So, it’s a significant accomplishment to receive that offer considering their recent success.”

However, the Wolverines are not the only major school vying for the attention of this versatile player. Arrington has received offers from Notre Dame, Alabama, Oregon, and several other prominent programs. With numerous schools expressing interest, Arrington is committed to conducting thorough research on each potential destination, including Michigan.

“I know a bit about the program’s history, but I’m not very familiar with its current state,” Arrington explained. “I’m aware that the coach recently departed, so I’m eager to learn more.”

As Arrington hinted, new head coach Sherrone Moore aims to recruit talented playmakers like Arrington to enhance the program. Both parties are actively working to establish a stronger connection.

“It’s been a positive experience,” Arrington remarked. “They’ve been reaching out to me, communicating with my coach and my family, striving to establish a rapport.”

Currently, Arrington’s focus is on track season, where he boasts an impressive personal record of 10.4 seconds in the 100-meter dash. He also competes in the open 200-meter dash and the 4×100-meter relay for Mount Miguel.

Ranked as the nation’s No. 15 athlete and No. 128 overall, Arrington’s athleticism and skills are evident both on the field and the track. Last season, he contributed significantly on offense with 14 receptions for 426 yards and six touchdowns, while also making an impact on defense with 18 solo tackles and seven pass deflections.
