Division SEC West is hosted by #1 Arkansas Foreold Miss in the Weekend Episode

Arkansas’s FAYETTEVILLE This weekend at Baum-Walker Stadium, unanimous No. 1 Arkansas (24-3, 8-1 SEC) squares up against SEC West Division rival Ole Miss (18-12, 3-6 SEC) in a three-game series. The Razorbacks and Rebels will play their first pitch at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, on SEC Network. Dave Neal, the play-by-play announcer, and Chris Burke, the analyst, will be on the call.

The Razorbacks have swept two straight SEC home weekend series to begin the season. They have won a program-record 18 straight games played in the welcoming confines of Baum-Walker Stadium. Arkansas has won 20 of the last 21 SEC home weekend series since the 2019 campaign, including seven consecutive victories.

After 27 games in the 2024 season, Arkansas is off to a scorching hot start. With an overall record of 24-3, the Razorbacks are off to their finest start since 1982, when the famous Norm DeBriyn-coached Hogs (headed by starting second baseman and Southwest Conference Newcomer of the Year Dave Van Horn) started 27-2-2.

The SEC Network will broadcast Thursday night’s series opener between Arkansas and Ole Miss, handled by play-by-play commentator Dave Neal and analyst Chris Burke. On SEC Network+, Josh Haley and legendary Razorback Troy Eklund will call plays and serve as analysts for the games on Friday night and Saturday afternoon, respectively.

Arkansas’s series record versus Ole Miss is still 59-53 overall, with a 26-23 record in Fayetteville matchups. The Razorbacks are 14-19 at home in the series and 34-43 overall under head coach Dave Van Horn.

Arkansas is 8-5 overall versus Ole Miss since 2021. Since the 2021 season, the Hogs have defeated the Rebels in three straight regular-season weekend series.
