Is Kentucky considering pursuing Mark Few from Gonzaga for their coaching vacancy?

The recent whirlwind of changes in college basketball coaching positions has been notable, and now, the Gonzaga Bulldogs might be entering the mix.

Following the departure of Hall-of-Fame head coach John Calipari from Kentucky to SEC rival Arkansas on Sunday night, numerous prominent names have emerged as potential successors. Among them is Gonzaga coach Mark Few, recognized as one of the most esteemed figures in the sport and holding the highest winning percentage of any Division I head coach in history.

It’s highly likely that Kentucky Athletic Director Mitch Barnhart will reach out to Few. “There’s a very, very real possibility that [Kentucky] makes a phone call,” remarked Dan Dickau on Gonzaga Nation. “If you’re the Kentucky AD and you’re sitting there looking at the landscape of college basketball, you have to at least give a phone call to Mark Few.”
