Kansas City Chiefs player Rashee Rice voluntarily surrendered to police custody following a March 30th Lamborghini-involved multi-car accident on Dallas’ Central Expressway. As reported by the Glenn Heights Police Department to NBC News on April 11, the wide receiver faced a warrant for arrest, issued by the Dallas Police Department on April 10.

Presently, it’s uncertain whether Rice remains detained. He faces charges including one count of aggravated assault, one count of collision involving serious bodily injury, and six counts of collision involving injury stemming from the incident where he, driving the Lamborghini, and Southern Methodist University football player Theodore “Teddy” Knox, driving a Corvette, allegedly caused a chain reaction collision involving four other vehicles. Both Rice, aged 23, and Knox, aged 21, are accused of speeding and fleeing the scene without assessing injuries or offering their information, according to authorities.
