IT’S A DONE DEAL: Another mega star player committed to Walsall fc just……

AFC Fylde head coach Chris Beech has reunited with a familiar player by signing Joe Riley for Mill Farm.

Riley, 27, who previously played under Beech at Carlisle United, has agreed to a one-year contract with an option for a second year.

Fylde is the latest stop in Riley’s career, which includes stints at Manchester United, Sheffield United, Bradford City, and Walsall.

Riley expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Having worked with Beechy before, I’m aware of his drive for success and his qualities as a manager.

I’m eager to get started, and being a local from around here makes it an exciting challenge for me.

Talks with my agent and Beechy began some time ago. With our history, there was mutual trust, making the decision straightforward.

Growing up in Lytham, I’ve always been around this area; it’s great for me and my family, who can come to the games.

I have many friends locally, so it will be nice to see them support us on the weekends.

As a tenacious, box-to-box midfielder, I enjoy getting forward, creating opportunities, and leading on the field.

My ambitions align with the gaffer’s. Everyone here aims for a successful season.

I wouldn’t be here if there wasn’t a shared ambition for success, and I hope to contribute to the team’s achievements.”
